It has been quite awhile since the last posting.  I have been working on many different items since than.  I always like to show appreciation for different people in our lives.  I myself was a volunteer fire fighter and know how good it feels to get these types of items.  I have put together some plaques that represent the fire service as well as the medical services and even our military services.  I would love to hear from anyone that has any ideas about other options.  I am always looking for new concepts.  So if you have anything interesting that you want to work on, send me an email at chamberslaserimpressions@gmail.com  I look forward to hearing from you. 


     Here I have included a fire scram on a Maltese cross.  There are three separate layers to this one.  Each of the three pieces are approximately a quarter of an inch thick.  The Maltese cross is stained a nice red stain  to help represent the traditional red fire color.

   This beautiful star of life is a new one for me.  There are two separate layers that are glued together, and three separate pieces.  The back layer is stained a nice royal blue and the entire piece is than sprayed with a lacquer finish.

I also have been working with some new military signs and have ones to represent the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Marines.  I really do like these and make them to order.  They are made up of three layers glued together and lacquered over.  The back layer has a nice dark stain applied to allow the signs to stand out more.

Wedding Season is Coming Up Quickly

     We are getting very close to this years wedding season.  Getting married in the spring and summer is a very common practice, and rightfully so, is a great time to get married.  You get to enjoy some of the most beautiful flowers in their fullest bloom.  You can have a sunny outdoor wedding by your favorite water way.  The warmer months are truly a great time to enjoy what mother nature can help to add to your special day.

Heros all around us!!!

I always love to show appreciation for our silent heros. There are so many right around us everyday. From our soldiers serving near and far to our emergency services serving right here in our country. All of them deserve so much recognition. It is truly amazing to see the strength in the hearts of these wonderful men and women. We salute each and every one of you and hope that you always feel the appreciation that you deserve. Wine Bottle Engravings

Remembering our Veterans

     This commemorative wooden plaque was engraved using a black and white photo from 1953.  The soldier in the photo is my brother-in-law, whom proudly served many years in the United States Marine Corps.  When I first laid eyes on this photo, I immediately wanted to thank him for his service and commemorate all that he has done for this country.  An engraving on a wooden plaque just seemed to serve this great purpose.  I knew that he would be able to enjoy this for many years and pass it down to his children and grand-children. When we were able to present this gift to him, it was such a wonderful feeling. The looks on his face and my sisters face were priceless.  I am so grateful that I was able to present this to him and my sister.
